  • Can be dissolved in both hot and cold water as preferred.
  • How to Dissolve Matcha in Hot Water
  • Prepare hot water at approximately 70–80°C (avoid boiling water as it may cause excessive bitterness).
  • Measure about 1 teaspoon of matcha powder (adjust strength as desired).
  • Add 150–200 ml of hot water.
  • Whisk or stir until fully dissolved. A shaker can also be used.
  • Serve immediately or mix with other beverages as desired.

Ingredients

  • matcha powder (6 g) 2 teaspoons
  • hot water 50 ml.
  • fresh milk 200 ml.
  • syrup 20 ml.

Method

  1. Dissolve matcha powder in hot water as instructed above.
  2. Mix fresh milk and syrup together.
  3. Add ice into a glass, pour in the sweetened milk, then top with the dissolved matcha.
  4. Serve immediately.
